People are talking up their virtues as a local firm.Yes, we should all take responsibilty for actions years before we were born, but I congratulate you for going to the museum.
All you have to do is read this forum to know this isn’t true, you don’t speak for every Evertonian. I’m not embarrassed by it, it’s not great but in the grand scheme of my life there’s many things I’ve said and done that is more embarrassing than the name of our stadium. Maybe a little stepping back and getting a grip is required.
Commerically the club thinks it makes sense, it’s a local law firm with a strong reputation in its field. I think it boils down to we have bigger fish to fry. I’ll tell you this I prefer it to the Bank of America or Pepsi or something like that.
And in the grand scheme of my life and many peoples it’s not worth the outrage and bandwidth your giving it.
"Brings in bucks".We’re well-versed in humiliation. After 35 years of having our heads patted by Kenwright’s sweet seductive sepia-toned lies, what’s another “humiliation.”
Amazing how so much mismanagement was tolerated here for over quarter of a century, yet a deal that brings in bucks is the straw to break the camel’s back.
Except it won’t be.
I don`t think too many will be feeling that way. Naming rights was a way to get some extra cash in the bank and an extra bit of revenue that we never had at Goodison.
They accepted the vagueness over Moyes’s contract, didn’t they?"Brings in bucks".
Not specified by the club. The length of contract is not even specified.
It's all vague but some people are prepared to hand a club that - as you say - taken the piss for 35 years the benefit of the doubt.
Done a bit of digging and apparently they:People are talking up their virtues as a local firm.
Maybe find more about them first?
If they're playing Golf with Ken Dodd am outDone a bit of digging and apparently they:
- represented the NHS in the 'this Nurse Letby' case
- once instructed Keir Starmer to act as their barrister
- advised the Canada Dock wind turbine company on their planning application
- play golf of a Sunday with Commander Steve; and worst of all..
- handled Patto's bullying complaint to Finch Farm HR against Sean Dyche
Thanks, The deal is a bit different to the £10m a season some are blindly believing... £5m a season seems more plausible. It’s an LLP. Doesn’t pay Corporation Tax. Tax transparent. The deal is a base of £35M over 7 years. More if we do well.
