New Everton Stadium

Castore pay us more than anyone in our history to produce our kits - not good enough
Dickson Hill (potentially) paying top whack for stadium naming rights - not good enough
Kick paying us the most money on the table for shirt sleeve sponsor - not good enough

Meanwhile

Our commercial team are shabite lad.
We can’t compete in transfer cos our revenue is shabite lad.

The Everton way

The club not keen in disclosing the numbers in this deal which is not looking great. If it is as they're saying amongst the highest in europe why not telling us fans the details. Even wrexham would be able to attract bigger sponsors, especially if they were in the pl.

Maybe our billionaire owners might have business contacts that could have done better than a deal that'll pay Coleman and Young's wages.
Yeah cos that’s how business works…

“Hiya mate, will you pay x3 times the nearest bidder to sponsor my stadium please? By the way, you’ll never see a return on that money as it currently stands”

The end of your argument right there... you`ve not offered why it isn`t then just started calling names.... mate I think some of your posts are funny but don`t be so blinded by the new owners that you think they can do anything wrong.

This isn`t a good deal... hell TFG themselves could chuck £20m a season in and not even miss it... new rules state they could do whatever they please so why have they decided not to and instead massively undersold us.
With respect you not exactly proving anything other than your strong opinion yourself.

As for TFG throwing money at us, why do you think has ever been their intention and who outside of City’s owners is doing £20m per season sponsorships with their club?
They’ve just put themselves in hock to the tune of several hundred million to buy us, they want us to be sustainable which having just lived through what happened when Mosh threw money at us, is a much more sensible approach 🤷🏻‍♂️

Didn’t like it at first, but grown on me, think it’s fine and sounds professional.

Of course there’ll be awfully cringe banter because it has dick in the name.

Compared to other naming rights deals around Europe, the reported £10m a year deal seems a good one

Stuff like this really highlights how naive and thick a lot of people are.

From the way people are carrying on, you’d think that there’s a queue of multinational corporations waiting in the wings to throw £30m a year at a club who’s won nothing in 30 years.

If it was 30m a year and some unheard of corporation decided to spunk all their money on us then I would accept it. Up to 10m might be if we are in Europe etc. so I would have taken 5m for a big name that sounds better.

You get one shot to name your stadium that will echo around the world and we have gone for Hill Dickinson Stadium. You can't make this sort of thing up. All those questionnaires and fan input and they end up call it something daft that the majority will hate. A fair few fans would probably say stick £5 on every match ticket and we'll call it something decent to save calling it this.

I'm sure we'll get used to it but it's another d'oh! moment in a long line we have had to suffer through in recent times.
