Every year without a sponsor is hurting them. If it's the reported £10'm then that's decent.

You have to remember the Bayer Leverkusen one is dodgy as well because the Bayer company own the team as well as sponsoring the stadium.

I think it’s decent money, nice that it’s a local firm, I just wish the name didn’t have the word “Dickinson” in it. It’s a gift for the away fans and the chants.
I’m hoping that it gets abbreviated to “The HD stadium”. Either that or Hill Dickinson get bought out, they did sell off part of the business to Keogh a few years ago and sometimes business do these big sponsorship deals to put themselves in the shop window.

This deal could have been huge and provided a boost to player recruitment but we’ve opted for a small local sponsor which inevitably means a modest income.

Up to £10m per annum probably means £5m per annum which is equivalent to Doucoure’s wages to give an idea of scale.

£5mill a year is in the top 15 in world football.

If you think we'd have gotten £15mill or more which is likes of Bayern and Barca then....

I don't love the name but their branding / logo are at least pretty subtle on the eye. It's better than some massive Toyota logo or whatever.

It might if they think the sponsorship will lead to additional revenues meaning their profits increase by more than £10m
