He’s a good backup and I bet he’s a top pro and big influence in the dressing room.

Whilst it’s quite embarrassing, he’s often been one of our most solid players this year. If he stays, hopefully can use him as he was always meant to be used, very very sparingly across a few positions.

I can only assume his salary demands sensibly get lower as his age gets higher. And he’s not the arrogant “I’ve won everything” tool I thought he might be. Unlike Delph.
