I think Man City used to have the widest pitch area in the football league when they were at Maine Road? They used to move the touchlines in to reduce the width of the pitch but still keep it legal when they played certain teams and then re-do the lines back out whenever they wanted to. I think it was them but might have been a few teams do it?
