Today’s Football - 2024/25 Season

I think the europa league is probably the easiest and more realistic route to champions league football for English clubs that can't really compete for the top 5...could be an opportunity for us if we can qualify for it next year...plenty of english clubs are now getting into Europe, so maybe a top 8 might be enough...
If we finish 8th the last European place will go to the winners of the fair play league. That will obvs be the RS because they never foul anyone so it will then be 2nd in the fair play league.

Personally think how it's structured now is a complete joke. Could be up to 10 teams in it.

And no doubt will change the minute we get a sniff of it

“No publicity is bad publicity” I suppose. If god forbid we were ever in that scenario and our player said that I think I’d have an aneurism I’d be that angry
Erm, there's this poison wee goblin running round for Marseille, and he's plucked a certain goose* this season and no mistake.

*this is a euphemism

I hope he’s been feeling down and then checked the Everton score and felt even more down.
That's a strong possibility, mate.

But I think Marseille are the real ones feeling down, as they're obligated to purchase him after the loan deal is up...
It's not that often that we get to be the ones on the 'doing the screwing' end, as opposed to being on the 'being screwed' end of a player transfer deal.

I'm taking that as a win! ;)
