New Everton Stadium

Heard a rumour that Moyes wasn’t happy with his BMD visit…..

- walk from home dressing room takes 2 minutes, doesn’t want to lose that much of team talk at HT
- refreshment room is a decent distance from home dressing room
- referee dressing room is next door to the away team
- didn’t know that pitch is being relayed which delays first chance team can train on it

Hard to know if this is true, tongue in cheek or complete BS.
at goodison they stand in the tunnel for a minute waiting for the z cars theme to start

He knows if he actually does his job it will compromise his seat on the gravy train over at the tin mine.

He's actually a massive road block for the progression of the club.

You can bet your bottom dollar that his relationship with that lot over there will have him pulling up no trees dong their city rivals any favours.

There's a conflict of interests with all his freebie match day tickets at Anfield and being even handed with us.

Only a fool - or his mates - would doubt that.

Nice little trips over to Boston to see his mates.

He's a compromised politician.

Are they not all? Blue Mayor Joe Anderson had a lot of trouble with stories about taking back handers. It was Anderson that gave the go ahead for BMD, shame he didn`t think about improving transport links to the area while he was in office, or maybe there was nothing in it for him to do so.

Interestingly the firm his lad was involved in with did works along Great Howard not long before he was pulled in,so all that had begun.

I worked for a firm off Great Howard and it was a nightmare for our transport links.

One thing I will say is if Joe was still in offices he'd moved heaven an earth to improve the transport links around BM and wouldn't be sat on his hands like Rotherham.

Transport is Rotherams mob, nothing to do with LCC.

Blue badge holders are putting their lives at risk to take up a seat in that stadium and that Judas get is mithering about a 2 minute walk. He does f.a. in his HT talks anyway.
I’ve heard he’s not happy there is no Asahi on fraught, make of that what you will.

Mate, from the stuff about the stadium not being ready on time to now stuff like this...it reeks of red rat droppings as they get more desperate to try and 💩 on everything about BM, the jealous bottom-dwellers...nothing against you, I'm just sick to the back teeth with all the negativity. As I said, expect more nonsense the closer it gets to opening. "They found fecal matter in the drinking fountains., lad...haven't you 'eard? They cross-connected them with the sewage lines, gonna' take 3 years to fix, bring your own water."
Remember the guff about James Rodriguez going full Bruce Jenner? That was started by one of them, and amazingly got picked up with by mainstream media - about 18 months after he left us.

Apparently things can be done quickly

About 1/3 of the construction costs of traditional trams / light rail systems is diversion of statutory undertakings. There's always been cheaper ways of doing it. Catenary free trams? Not a problem. Trackless trams? Sure.

One of the problems in local government (and most tiers of government) was that they over-engineered / specified everything to the point that costs got out of control and the appetite to fund this stuff centrally nose-dived. Merseytravel were victims of this back in the late 90s, and it was mainly thanks to the screw ups that were Sheffield and Edinburgh.

Now that the country is potless, all of a sudden these "visionary" local government schemes are bringing a modicum of common sense as scheme proponents. Coventry is also within the coverage of Transport for West Midlands, who to be fair, have achieved quite a lot in terms of public transport over the last few years.

(Caveat - I'm not an engineer, but as a transport economist I spent many meetings and boozy nights in the company of these ogres, and learned a lot from them)
