Feel like a lot of people have misunderstood what should be happening after the game.

Wanting it to stay open for hours, concerts, big screens in Stanley park. Most people just want to go to the last game, say goodbye, then be with their mates afterwards.

It's why I never got the 12pm kick off, much better to have had it later so we could have a good few hours building the atmosphere.

People really thought the 12pm kick off meant goodison would be open for hours on end afterwards which was never going to be the case.

By the time you get down to the bar , queue up and walk back up the show will be over . Better to head straight for the Dark House or wherever.
I don't disagree. Personally i've never really got the appeal of trying to neck a crap warm beer in 5 minutes at half time after queuing up for ages but people do it don't they. I was just commenting on the time the bars would be open til which is what you initially seemed to suggest was weird.

I've said it before and I'm gonna say it again. The police need to issue warings to people who are planning on just hanging around the ground. Its not cleaver or funny. Stop act like entitled kopites and just watch the game in the pub.

Who are they harming? If people want to hang around and enjoy the atmosphere (obviously not condoning people bunking in), then good for them

Same old twiiter top blues having a moan when it was them who went crying to the fans forum to have the kick off time changed.

Many people want to be there for the last ever game at Goodison whether that's in the ground or outside and why should that be discouraged?
The police would be better advised worrying about the spawn of Satan decending on the City the week after.

People suggesting the music might be the Las or McCartney 🤣

We're gonna end up with that Ryan Rooney doing his Jamie Webster wannabe act aren't we 😩

I’m probably in the minority but my preference would be no pre arranged artists but a fan led spontaneous celebration which isn’t pre planned and just see what happens.
I’d rather listen to our fans belting out songs than some washed up croaky throat has been. (Elton John singing I guess that’s why they call it the blues excluded)

Potentially a lot of people. Goodison is a nightmare bottleneck at the best of times. Add ten thousand morons mindlessly standing around while everyone else trys to get in and out and it will be a nightmare.

Because Goodison is a nightmare at the best of times, pre and post match. Add thousands of people mindlessly standing around just because they want to be part of the occasion is beyond stupid ans dangerous. Its kopite behaviour and needs to be called out.

Some will force their way in, guaranteed. Huge potential security issue too
