Seeking Everton vlogger/fan for pre-match vid

Ipswich Fan in Peace

Player Valuation: £25k
Hello from the Ipswich fan base - it’s all over for us sadly - what happened to you lot playing in the relegation mire with us early season?!

Looking forward to being a part of the penultimate game and occasion at the ‘Grand Old Lady’ - and understand there’s a big TIFO display. We’re actually not playing that bad, so should be a good game if we can get some injuries back.

I know the twtd.co.uk team and their TWTV Video Verdict show are looking for an Everton fan or vlogger who fancies being on camera Saturday morning - talk about how it feels to move stadium, memories of Goodison. Preferably at Branley-Moore dock.

If you fancy it or know of someone drop me a direct message.

Thanks in advance, enjoy the game (but not too much!)

Our resident Shakespearean @matty1878. No better man to be interviewed. Nothing at all could go wrong.

Can I recommend someone, @tommye loved blogs. Get in touch with him, he loves it.

Don’t listen to him if says otherwise, he’s just a bit shy.
And no doubt he will somehow introduce his partial missing finger into the discussion. The story goes that he cut it off in protest when a certain ex-RS Fat Spanish Waiter became our manager. But that's only hearsay.

'sake.

I know this phrase always yanks your chain - and I know why from past threads - but it's simply been adopted as a term of endearment for a much loved institution - not only by us Blues but other teams fans - and much better than the references to the Old Toilet (in Trafford or Stretford or whatever part of Manchester their reds are based), the Emptihad or Mordor (although it's probably only us who refer to the latter as that). Correct me if I'm wrong but didn't you say it was some journo from the Red Echo who coined the phrase? Maybe he was simply using the Toffee Lady as a guide but however it came about it was ingenious and up there with 'Born not Manufactured....'. Gives a sense of family and belonging.

What's your favourite Ipswich song.
If Ipswich ceased to exist, who would you support apart from Rangers or Spurs....

I think it's a term that's been a pat on the head to Everton because the media dont know WTF to say about us so they just focus on the old stadium's atmosphere.

Old Lady is just so toe curling.

I guarantee you no Evertonian before that nobhead hack came up with it ever said 'Old Lady'.

People of a bygone era would have had more sense than to us such an anthropomorphic description.

It's Kopite level.
