Hope I’m wrong, but I fear a 32/33 year old who has hardly missed a game in his career, getting a hammy might be the beginning of his body saying it’s had enough.
Hopefully he comes back and does another load of games without missing a beat but this is Everton let’s not forget.

For me Tarkowski is our most important player. We will no doubt miss him.

Along with Gana——the two of them are important to the team and we’re definitely missed when they went off on Saturday.

I think Tarkowski has been huge for us, and at the same time the club should plan on him being a backup next season. If we want to compete for Europe we need two great CBs and with an injury at his age it would be foolish to plan based on him being back at 100%. I think OBrien looks likely to do well, but both Branthwaite and Tarks may need to be replaced by 2026.

That seems to be Doucoure at the moment. The only games he`s missed were his one game ban and the day off to welcome Doucoure Junior into the world. Tarks could be 2nd on the team sheet (I`ve a bad feeling Douc`s getting a new deal this summer).
