Speaking of terrible relegated teams and players, what has become of Ben Godfrey at Ipswich? Has he played a minute of football since that 6-0 defeat on his debut? I was assured he was going to go and keep them up at our expense.

Wild that he got an England cap. And was absolutely dreadful.

Im no football expert - but even I could see what a daft idea RVN was. I couldnt figure the reasoning - because he had a minor caretaker bounce at Utd ?

It's funny how a big player name can turn brains to mush. Felt a bit like that with Lampard too.
Least Lampard at time at Derby and chelsea

Whats ruud done

If his COVID was as bad as some people’s, as an athlete he will never be the same player and he was rapid. It’s clear to anyone he fell off cliff after that, feel sorry for him.

Ya was thinking the same, feel for him alot more than Holgate that's for sure

His lack of ability has got nothing to do with his pace though? He can still run fast, he just can’t play football. There was no dramatic drop off in his ability to mark a man or jump for a header.

Perhaps you can say we were never going down anyway but that cannot be said of all recent seasons.

Nobody wants a repeat of it but there is something to be taken from the way the club and fans got through it despite all the things that were thrown at us.

It's in our DNA to fight.

….its a good point. I looked at Leicester’s half full stadium last night and immediately thought of Goodison and the welcoming parade of the coach, the blue smoke, the atmosphere when we had to fight for our top flight existence.

Our fan base gets a bit of stick, even on here but I wouldn’t swap them for any other, just look at the traffic on this site and we haven’t seen success in an age.

I don't as apparently he was anti-vax. If true, all on him.

The United premium. Anybody associated with them automatically becomes coveted by small, greedy men with big ideas and low self-esteeem.

It's why Bill hired Lampard.

Yep. Leicester fans were singing songs at Goodison taking the pee out of their team. They gave up with half a season to play, it’s no surprise the players did too.
