I'd have Kevin Campbell in before Ferguson. Duncan was a cult player rather than a great player for Everton. That said, to a certain extent these "giants" are supposed to represent each era. It's a bit like a pop group that had a pile of hits in the 80s, a few in the 90s, and nothing since releasing a Best Of and still including a few more recent efforts. Baines will deserve his place when he gets in there. Coleman will probably get in as well for longevity of service.

Nice gesture by Arsenal. Always been a classy club and it's hard to reconcile that with their current style of play: time-wasting, feigning injury, hitting the deck with every challenge and constant whingeing at the referee. Arteta seems a decent bloke but his approach as a manager leaves me with a bad taste in my mouth.

It doesn’t take any gloss off it at all! Seriously who would care? Would it take the gloss off for you if we won it next year and the competition didn’t have their best season? You either win it or you don’t, it’s really that simple. They’ll have another league title added to their honours list.

“Do you think this Liverpool team would have beaten Man City from last year?” Again, who cares? The team that finishes top every year become champions! That’s the way it works and everything else is completely irrelevant. Let’s not all try and find ways of devaluing their title just because of jealousy and bitterness. The cold hard fact is they deserve it this year.

Firstly why would I be jealous of it ? We haven't been in any position to win any cup never mind the league for absolute years. I don't understand you're stance mate, you seem deeply offended that I have tried to devalue their league title why ? Simply stating the truth that this Liverpool team is not as good as previous Liverpool teams or nowhere near as good as the previous Man City teams. They have beat what's in front of them that's enough.
