….surprised me seeing that stone, not fit to tie the laces of John Hurst. I wouldn’t have Duncan Ferguson, hope he’s not next to my stone.

Good to see Derek Temple there, like to see teammates like the great Jimmy Gabriel (top player and great servant on the coaching side), maybe they should’ve consulted fans.

There are small brick platforms with unfinished tops along the outside of the stadium, I reckon some of the statues might end up there

Tom read the first line of my post, that you're answering to, I agree the league title is far more prestigious. But the standard of the teams challenging for it has dropped drastically, that in my eyes takes a fair bit of gloss off that trophy. Do you think this Liverpool team would have beaten Man cities team from last year ?

It doesn’t take any gloss off it at all! Seriously who would care? Would it take the gloss off for you if we won it next year and the competition didn’t have their best season? You either win it or you don’t, it’s really that simple. They’ll have another league title added to their honours list.

“Do you think this Liverpool team would have beaten Man City from last year?” Again, who cares? The team that finishes top every year become champions! That’s the way it works and everything else is completely irrelevant. Let’s not all try and find ways of devaluing their title just because of jealousy and bitterness. The cold hard fact is they deserve it this year.

Im an “older” fan who lived through the glory spell of the 80’s, and I’d still have Duncan in there.

I genuinely feel sorry for younger fans who haven't seen success.

Frauds like Ferguson would become much more obvious to them.
