The Moyes Era

Wouldnt you just love Moyes to be in charge of transfers, but have someone like Martinez as our manager? Shame it can't happen

Moyes has been great, really steadied the ship and that. But you have to say with the squad we NOW have thanks to Moyes - we should be performing better.

Wish he had drummed it into them at half-time last Saturday.

The irony being,, we started well on saturday and performed badly in the second half.... the players need to accept responsibility in my opinion for failing to impose themselves on the game. Moyes can't go out there and do it for them.

Maybe the answer is getting rid of Rounds and appointing a new number 2 who has a diffrent style to Moyes

I do have a theory now that we have nothing to play for... I know it's a bit out there but stick with me.... I would play the rest of the season without starting Baines or piennar ( have them on the bench obviously ), our teams first instinct when they have the ball is to look out left for either of these two,,, if moyes rested them it would force our players to use the right hand side of the pitch more, this would give us more attacking options,,,, other teams know we only play down the left.

Surely by that logic whenever we play badly its never Moyes' fault?

Yes other teams know we play down the left, but alot still can't stop us when we have Pienaar playing. The reason our right side isnt used as much isnt because we dont want to use them, its because the players we have arent good enough to attack down the right.

Baines is injured now, id take it as an opportunity to play Neville at LB, and put Coleman at RB. Then play Gueye on the right of midfield.

Also, we do have something to play for, an extra £750k

If Baines is Injured for the rest of the season I would like to see Bidwell or Garbutt recalled if possible and played

Interesting. Baines is injured as well. But I think we need to play Pienaar as it's regular football which is most likely to convince him to sign. I want to see more of Barkley ffs, and possibly put Garbutt or Bidwell at left back instead of Neville/Hibbert.

I thought we played down the middle......

Maybe it can? We just need a better asst manager, Not sodding Round! I really don't know why Irvine isn't asst manger again, he was great when he was here
