Little bit worrying moyes saying he will play charlie based on the activation clause. Suggests he is not yet considering him as definite summer purchase

Personally i think its a done deal.

My suspicion is we wanted to sign him personally in January, but a loan with a low bar clause worked for everyone, Flamengo getting rid of a high cost player they didn't want and for us a loan made more sense from a PSR point of view rather then a permanent.

I think theres a chance that ndiaye naturally returns to the left, dacoure keeps hanging around like a xmas dinner fart, and harrison/lindstrom get the nod on the right, with carlos coming on as a substitute.

For now, yes hes injured. But i cant imagine its a season ending one?
If Moyes was thinking, yeah we are gonna buy this lad, then i wouldnt really expect this comment from him.
I think as much as im delighted with what moyes has done since he came in, that he is still a defensive manager (thats an upgrade on Dyche) and that maybe he struggles with having an attacking no.10 as opposed to a workhorse like Dacoure.
Dont forget a very large of West Ham fans wanted him out for being so negative.

Im just wondering, if we dont activate the automatic purchase of alcaraz, whether we are still able to buy him at that price, should we choose to?

For once I agree with you - I like him but not sure he is as good as people on here are making out. Being kept out by doucs physicality and played on the wing is not good for anyone

I'd keep Lindstrom because he's a hard working player who'll put it in for 90 minutes. There's sense to keeping him. But this feller is a bit too lightweight IMO and switches off a lot.

Not a Moyes player and he'll be going back in the summer for sure.

Lindstrom is a totally different player though. Not the solution on the right wing, but wouldnt say no as a backup in on loan only.
Alcaraz could be bought for 15 million, have an underwhelming season next year and still be sold for the same as we've bought him or even a profit on top.
He is only 22 after all and a late january addition.
I would be extremely dissapointed if we baulked at 15 million, and spent that amount on a 30 year old soucek (spelling) alternative.

I'm not sure about him tbh.

Impact sub only IMO.

Do we really want to spend £15M on a bit part player?

I can see this one not happening. Rightly so too.

Dave he's first and foremost a bloody good footballer, who works hard and has what most of his teammates don't.. composure around the opposition box. He can run with the ball, pass the ball perfectly timed and weighted and has a good shot on him and will weigh in with goals and assists. Why am I not surprised you want shut of him. You're contrarism does my head in at times, this is one of them timed. Sign him I'm all in.
