New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

The stadium is lovely and all and will be an entirely different match day experience for fans and raise our profile, but it is just a means to an end, with that end objective of us being more competitive on the field, and eventually winning trophies. The RS already at that stage unfortunately, so whilst I am sure they would have rather us stayed in our place and stayed at Goodison, and I am sure they’re uncomfortable with us moving to a new stadium as they don’t know what effect it has, anyone who thinks they’re fuming about it when their about to the win the league in my opinion, are kidding themselves.
Well, they wont be winning the title very often, so they'll have plenty of time to fume over a stadium that has a location like ours which basically lays claim to the city.

The fume will be set to 11 when this club's matches are beamed around the world and commentators are describing it as one of the greatest stadiums in world football.

If people dont realise the Kopites will be punching themselves in the face at that point they dont know Kopites. They simply HAVE to dominate Everton in all dimensions, and if they dont they go berserk. Just look at the last few derbies to recognise the truth of that. They're winning the title and they're still talking about Tarkowski's last minute equaliser and his brilliantly timed tackle.

They're paranoid where Everton is concerned. About everything. They know we're the authentic club in this city and that they'll never be. Throw in a state of the art stadium on the banks of the Mersey that the global media will drool over and it tips them over the edge. We're Michael Myers for them: always there, relentlessly reminding them that we cant be outrun or killed off. We're their living nightmare. No title win can take away that nagging fear they have.

You're right..... only the bitterest red cranks or immature kids are a bit bothered. As the Echo have been covering its progress with various articles, there have been as many comments from reds praising it as having a go at it, or us.

They only praise in order to position themselves as 'above the fray'. There will be very few Liverpool supporters who are remotely ok with this new stadium of Everton's.

Dunno Dave

Yes the kopites are as bitter as anything or anyone and they seem to have more than their share of bells

At the end of the day the evil reds are about to lift a premiership title whilst we’re no where near it.

Some are as bitter as hell down playing the stadium but most don’t care due to on pitch success.

We start winning things then you will see real bitterness

The PL is devalued.

It's like winning the Carabao Cup these days.

Also it's a fleeting thing. Stadiums are permanent and a statement of the football club itself.

They have an opened up cardboard box at the top of Walton Breck Road, we have a futuristic wonder of the world on the world famous River Mersey backgrounded against the city of Liverpool skyline.

No one can tell me the Kopites are relaxed about it. They dont know Kopites if they believe that.

So forget last minute equalisers we can only celebrate when we win the Champions League now ? Just checking.🤔

All it's missing is @davek circling around on his bike...
