Just saw his full post match presser. ‘Quite a fe managers in the league who think they don’t get any decisions at Anfield’. At least he’s finally calling out what everyone else can see. It’s been an absolute protectionist racket from day one this season with that lot.

Top bottom half means around 11-16th for me as the name says. We need improvements in the attacking area for sure and we need to invest the other teams won't sleep.
Oh top half of the bottom half you mean. Yes I agree with that. I assumed you meant like top of the bottom half, as the name actually says.

What manager would come here knowing that even if you do the job asked of you (and much better than that), you might still be sacked 6 months into a 2.5 year contract.

I disagreed with him getting that length of contract but now that he’s got it, he won’t be going anywhere as long as we stay up.
I’ve still not seen official confirmation of his contract duration on any club outlet. We commented at the time how unusual this was. Journalists have gone with 2.5 years, but to the best of our knowledge there has been no official club confirmation - and there was for previous managers.

Not just at Anfield. They’ve had favourable treatment at away games also . The Goodison derby - how on earth they can cry injustice about that one is beyond me. The referee pretty much told their manager to sub Bradley before he got a second yellow 😂

Good on Moyes for calling out the BS

As you say a lot of the media are saying the contract is for two and a half years but a couple are quoting that the club said the contract is for six months with his situation being reviewed at the end of that period.

Plus another draw.

Just a quick reminder of the last 9 games or so before last night and people are saying he's in danger of getting the boot.

Hilarious stuff. 10/10
When you consider we could have won any or all of those four draws, and probably should have won two of them at the very least.

The boot shouts are farcical at best, most likely blinkered predetermined bias

The most annoying one was the United draw. They were absolutely done and as soon as that free kick got given a way everyone in the stadium seemed to know it was in and we were collapsing before it was even taken.

That’s the mentality we need to shake off. Should have done them 3-0 and we’d have kept rolling but since then this timidness that wasn’t there in the first few games has come back. Even last night there was just no conviction about anything other than Tarkwoski’s tackle. Turning 70-30 balls in our favour into dangerous situations because there’s just far too much hesitation. Been a problem at Everton as long as I can remember

Glad to see you supporting the manager Dave, admirable.

I'm not campaigning for him to go. I've said loads of times: stay or go - it's not a major issue for me right now.

You're seeing what you want to see. There's a lot of it about...

We noticed that the official club announcements of the appointments of Lampard and Dyche both had the duration stipulated. Not Moyes. It may well be that he stays on - and I'm no conspiracy theorist - but if we go into freefall through April and one win in eight becomes one in 12, then I'm not sure the upside of keeping him on is all that high. The upside of hiring him originally was to keep us up. He succeeded. After that? I think a lot depends on the run-in. Had they somebody lined up for the summer? If not, then I don't have a huge issue with Moyes staying on for another season. But something doesn't quite pass the smell test with this. He was never their first choice, was appointed in panic, has done the job asked, but what now? They are no longer in a state of alarm. They might now be able to put their original plan into action - assuming they had one.

I am happy for Moyes to have a go at rebuilding the squad in the summer and staying on for another year or so. But I wouldn't be one bit surprised at all if things change to what the original Plan A might have been.
