Newcastle are a nothing club that bang on about a big supporter group... well they are the only club in their dump of a city. Also, they punch horses haha
that is a fairly good summary... but you could have also added that they now have sport washing owners

that was part of my dilemma
Of course i should have said first trophy in almost sixty not seventy years.

I guess it just means that the Geordies have brought themselves up to the same levels of relevance, as Middlesbrough, Swansea City and Birmingham City now.

I’d say there is about a 75% chance we see them win the league or at least challenge in the next 10 years. I’d say there is about 99% chance Everton will never win the league again in my lifetime.
Only one winner here I’m afraid
Doubt Newcastle will challenge for the league when their revenue is so much lower than Arsenal, Man City, RS etc

Think we’ll start to see a rollback of various rules tbh. Also plans for a new stadium next to St James’ PIF don’t mess around with this sort of thing.

I’m glad another club is getting in amongst the usual lot. Watching Liverpool United Chelsea and City share every trophy between them every season is just boring. Let Newcastle and Villa get in there, and hopefully it will be a rocket up the new owners at Everton that we need to be there too. If the sky six start missing out on European revenues then perhaps for the first time in about 20 years we might get back to something close to what football used to be like before the scab six ruined it.
