It’s a shame that they haven’t had any real competition in the league this season because I think they’d crumble.

I will comfort myself with thinking that the majority of their signing in recent years haven’t been as good as the players their replacing, Nunez, Diaz etc.

I think if the players out of contract at the end of the season leave, that they won’t be able to maintain the levels of the previous few seasons. That’s what I hope anyway.

They can’t and won’t. They are only there because of Salah. And they aren’t replacing him, if they could they would have other players already but their normal recruitment is average which is why their second top scorer has like 7 goals.
