Yeah I’m not counting any chickens until it’s mathematically done. We are unbeaten in 8 but could easily gone on a big run of losses. Yes it looks good but let’s just keep everything crossed. Hopefully we go into the Southampton game at home with nothing to play for at all, them either.

So sad though that every season this merry go around continues whilst them across the park are about to win another league, another cup and potentially another champions league. Every season for like the last 5 years has been the same for me. Just no hope at all. Only in these last few games it’s been better. We should have got a pen against United and if Beto could finish we potentially would have beaten Brentford easily and Wolves were there for the taking. Them 3 points are of course better then 0 but still.
I think we still have to keep things in perspective. It’s unquestionable that Moyes has done very well since coming in but it’s still not a great squad and we’re carrying a lot of injuries to some of our better forwards. Utd was disappointing but draws away to Brentford and wolves are solid if unspectacular results.

If we can pick up a win against West Ham at home then I’d say we’re more or less home and dry barring some sort of miracle run from Leicester or Ipswich and a disastrous end to the season from us. Both of which are extremely unlikely.

Well it’s not still going, you’re just keeping it going in your own head? We could lose every game from now until the end of the season and still stay up. I’ve got no idea why you seem so determined to put us back into a relegation battle, it’s absolutely bizarre.

Our fans crave misery, even when it’s not there they’ll invent it. Last season we actually got ourselves mathematically safe and people started going “well we need to win another two games in case we go into administration and deducted another 9”. Genuinely don’t know how any of you survive in the real world and deal with real life problems.

What?

My opinion on us not being mathematically safe is completely different to you saying ‘you’re determined to put us h back into a relegation battle’. Of course nobody wants that. Are we mathematically safe from the drop at the moment?

Don’t worry about real world mate. I do just fine.

We are safe.

For me is just trying to see if we csn get above spurs united and west ham,
Me too, and an opportunity for Moyes to try things out, especially when the injured players come back in. Haven't been in this position for a while, safe with a good run of matches to go and a manager who's in a solid position with these games and a summer ahead of him to plan for next season. And the added spice of those three sides you named which are well within our reach. Could be an enjoyable few weeks, now we don't say that often. UTFT
