55,000 per game if you take into consideration the 2,000 staff, coppers, media etc.

Could probably add another few thousand blues just in the area packing out what bars will be there.

The big talking point at the moment is how are 53k fans going to get to and from the stadium, imagine the fume if there were another 7k trying to get there.

With the transport situation we might have 20,000 still waiting up at Sandhills to get home from a Saturday home game when the following Tuesday League cup game comes up and they could fill what would be empty seats.

Same could be said it's not fair that me who has 19 years tenure has to wait for my lad on 0 so I've gone from 2nd on the list to last just to get a seat with a junior

I think it was technically on sale but no sales should have been allowed for the reason you state.
A guy who sits by me has full tenure and told me he was going ( alone ) in one of those sections and I repeatedly told him he couldn't . Despite that he went in person to the box office on the first day and was quite rightly refused

I didn't use link in email, just log in to your eticketing as normal and click the season ticket tab on there

Sunderland's always baffled me in this regard, huge stadium and a decent size club but have been woeful for the last 15/20 years.

It was always built with an option to expand too.
