It's for the best if it reminds everybody that this squad has to be burned to the ground come summer. Shouts for Doucoure to be extended, that Beto is the answer, and that Gueye should get another deal should worry anybody who wants to see serious improvement this summer.

We have a chance to reset. We need to maximise it. Old boys should be shown the door if it's a choice between otherwise mediocre players. But we should rid ourselves of as many of these as we can.

There is no money for wholesale changes, Alcaraz needs paying for if kept. We've how many out of contract? How many loans ending? Vultures circling the couple of talents we have.

Could end up needing 18 players in this summer. I hope where ever that arteta money is it's on every long shot since....

Understandably there’s a lot of negativity after the performance and a number of consecutive draws, but let’s get back to reality… This squad is still threadbare and still have no attacking alternatives on the bench whilst still containing some dross!
