Generally that was crap.

Beto’s starting position needs to be further forward. Too much of a disconnect between defence > midfield > attack.

Got to pull Doucoure back a bit (I’d prefer Charly on but we won’t do that this early). Give their defence and midfield more to think about and buy Beto a few yards of space.

I know nothings stuck with him but the passes to Beto has give him no chance. Get alcaraz on who can weight a pass.

Midfield needs help, either we keep hold of the ball more with Iroegbunam and Alcaraz or Doucoure needs to drop deeper without the ball.

Not a great performance, getting passed around in midfield like we’re not there…in fact…I don’t think the midfield aside from Gana is there. Doucoure just does not work in a 2 man midfield like this. Begging for some composure/finesse in the middle
