He said it in an interview iirc, not in any book.Ahem...
...it's fine though. You probably weren't an Everton supporter in 2003.
Still supporting Tranmere or Chester I expect.

People literally write anything with 0 fact checking to push players to certain clubs.

Still have 2 years with an option for a 3rd on his contract. We are fine for now, but if he wants to sign a 20 year deal, then so be it, who am I to argue.
Ok, that's probably the source then. It's funny it's not available still in archive. He said it in an interview iirc, not in any book.
Utter tripe.
Was just a 'tongue in cheek' quip by Moysie, not in the context your implying that the rs were after him.Ok, that's probably the source then. It's funny it's not available still in archive.
He very definitely said it though (Rooney) - as you confirmed.
Tbf, I don’t think he’s programmed to recognise humour. Was just a 'tongue in cheek' quip by Moysie, not in the context your implying that the rs were after him.
Personally expect nothing but Branthwaite staying. But ive never been a fan of us giving new contracts to players who still have over 2 or more odd years of their contracts to go. Getting linked by the press should not auto mean a new contract as most of the time it eventually ends up, Linking him to the dark side for the sake of it, is what is happening for me. He will get linked to others as that's who he is, but his contract last's a while yet, and would have took a big fee to get him, or it should do.
Tied himself in knotsPoor that by Branthwaite.
Needed to sort his feet out for that goal.
