Angus Kinnear

As always willing to be open minded and give him a chance.

As much as I prescribe to what others have said about not believing too much of what Leeds fans are saying as they’re hardly experts…

…but it’s a little concerning how they all seem unanimous in wanting him gone.

I guess time will tell…

Aberdeen Angus?
No, Everton lad.

Underwhelming. I'll be very interested to see what the new "wider sporting leadership team" will look like, seeing as we're moving away from a DoF model. Will it look something like Brighton's set up or are we going to go down the road we went down before with Moyes being in charge of all things relating to player trading. I hope it's not the latter, giving a sixty one year old man the job of running the first team and being responsible for the future of the playing squad beyond his tenure seems like a conflict of interest and an impossible job to me. I'm sure some will chide me for that comment and remark that it went OK last time. I would counter that by saying OK was all it was, and by the end it was managed decline, and I would also point out that football has changed enormously in the past 20 years and looking backwards is often going backwards. I guess we will see soon enough.

And have indirectly replaced him with a 72-year-old.

I am a CEO - not of a Premier Football club I might add! - and about to move from a regional to a national role. Since announcing I am going I have realised that other than those who work closely with me, everyone else probably has very little idea what I actually do, other than they like getting paid every month as a result. Those that my charity exists to support probably have even less of a clue, and most definitely would not be able to provide a completely informed decision about whether I was any good at my job or not.

Thought I’d ask my Leeds-supporting mate for his assessment.

To calibrate this, he’s a level-headed guy and not one for hyperbole….

I’d not only drive him to Everton but would carry him on my back and walk barefoot 😅

He’s the final part of the disastrous set of clowns we’ve had in charge for years and will be delighted to see the back of him…

Hopefully you’ll get the vanilla yes man version of him, if the rest of the ownership team is good, you’ll be fine, if there are some characters that need managing, he’s a wet lettuce…
