Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Cirkin would of been picked if he didn't have a tough year last year with injuries.

The step up to the PL is so hard, especially if you aren't coming in as an automatic starter (Jack Clarke was the best player in that league for 2 years)
Agreed.

This is going to sound like revisionism, but I think many here could just tell Clarke wasn’t going to produce the same numbers/performances in the prem as a starting winger. But players like Bowen, Eze and Olise…you could just tell they’d be fine - and have been. Nothing other than the eye test. Clarke was always a bit light weight. You look and a lot of those Sunderland lads and just reckon they have a good chance of stepping up physically. Look, I’m clearly bias and very high on them. I don’t disagree with you at all in terms of step up, but call me deluded, I think they’ll be great at a higher level.

Reid is spot on here

You mean the striker that can't score for United ? No thanks we have enough of them as it is, let United keep their flops, I practically said this earlier with Lindelof, let United keep their flops on massive wages, I hope that situation is in our past.

Think we should put a 30mil offer in for Mainoo.

Would be a good addition to the squad and be a replacement for Gana in the next couple of years!

Seems he wants to leave United!

Reid is spot on here
Nope - he’s very wrong, and I see the patting on the head is creeping back into the club again. UTD are nowhere near what they used to be and he won’t be a success there.
Can't say I agree. Not sure he will pass the Moyes attitude test. Seems a bit lethargic in his play and effort
It’s not effort, he’s just not very good.

Peter Reid says:
I’ve got a feeling Manchester United is a wee bit too big for him.

Look at the league table, Reidy.
