Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

Any truth in the return of Richarlison rumours?
I’ve not heard any, but if I did I think it’d be the most conflicted I’ve ever felt over a transfer.

Love the guy and my heart says snap him up, but my head says he’s finished at this level - probably because we ran him into the ground - and to completely swerve.

Sometimes websites dont play nice and allow you to copy them.

I mean I love Richy and would probably still sign him, but we shouldnt touch him with the biggest bargepole ever.

Used exactly the same to explain to my dad earlier why we shouldn't, and hopefully won't, be re-signing him.

Not unless Spurs let us have him for relative peanuts and his subsequent salary reflects his recent injury history...neither of which would be likely to happen!

He's missed an average of 17-18 games a season for Spurs since they signed him.

Gueye is the same height. Having a engine room with plenty of energy and intelligence, size doesn't matter
First of all Gueye is 4.5-5 inches taller. Secondly Gueye was/is one of the best athletes in the world that chewed up groundfor fun. Gomes is not the same type of player.

Is this rumoured?

Red mate tells me they have had a look. Apparently he isn't the greatest in the air though which they are concerned about. The ship has sailed on the likes of him and the Whartons of this world though. Next move for them players is to clubs at the top end of the table. We need to be getting them in before they move to the likes of Bournemouth and Palace. We may get back to a position where we can take players from those clubs again but it won't be this summer.
