Summer Transfer Window 2025 Thread

I'd love Huisen and Semenyo from Bournemouth but Angel Gomes is also a good shout.
Dreaming - but Delap is gonna be banging them in for years too.

Need to get Gomes Delap Semenyo before they start starting in the PL.

It’s the same with Club Brugge players, if you’re watching lads in the surprise team of the CL knockouts then it’s already too late.

We need to be doing what we did with Stones Branthwaite Calvert Lewin, get them before anyone has heard of them.

Would probably be a good move for him. He'd probably need a severe wage cut to stay in the prem or championship.

I think he's an honest player who works hard. He's got a lovely touch and good technique but his end product has been woeful. For me he pretty much does everything right in defensive and middle thirds of the pitch but can't seem to do anything right in the final third.

I'll wish him well when he goes, I can see why Dyche wanted him again this season. Just hasn't worked out.
We'd probably have a more positive view on him if he'd played in his best position throughout his time here, which he hasn't apart from the last 3-4 gamed

We need players ready to play Premier league football straight away too .
Stones, Branthwaite or dcl were not.
We need both types of signings.

I know they’re just rumours and probably just easy links but Soucek and Coufal are incredibly underwhelming. Really hoping we start targeting up and coming Championship players/players from the continent.

I think you have to think practically mate. We are going to need a squad overhaul in the summer. With such a churn, some experienced heads who can walk straight in and address problem positions might not be the end of the world.

Think Ashley Young but just not 47,000 years old.

They need scouts that can find players ready to excel in the Premier League without Premier League experience. Teams like Brighton have done a great job finding Premier League talent outside the top leagues. That is the only way the mid-table teams can elevate near the top 4.

Yep. If you've seen them play before it is probably a bad signing.

If Ipswich go down and Delap is affordable the club should have him as a major target. Traditional type CF who would thrive here imo
I recommend a hard bid of precisely £34.7m guaranteed, £20m up front and the rest over three years. An additional £5.3m if the club finishes in a Champions League qualification spot during his initial five-year contract.

Agreed 70m bid
10m upfront .. and 2m and 1m payment for every appearance and goal at goodison

Maybe he can go in with a 'cheeky' 20 million pounds bid for Jim Bowen's son Jarrod, or an 'audacious' 35m bid for Paqueta, who then gets banned for 24 months mere minutes after signing with us for his dodgy gambling.

Is this where I man, my one man Broja campaign.
Made myself unpopular a few times by saying this one. I'm not advocating it, but the lad is "back on the grass" and he'll be fit enough to play in the next couple of weeks it seems and he'll get a few games to make his case. We 100% shouldn't be activating his option, but either renegotiating for a much lower figure or another loan is something I could 100% see given Moyes has had such an interest in him. That's one I don't think is going to just go away with Thelwell leaving.

Striker situation is really all over the place - DCL is off, Chermiti is a kid who's missed almost an entire season (so you'd have to question if he can be relied on to be an option or whether a loan somewhere would be a better idea), you have Beto who we were 100% selling until the last few weeks and now there's a question mark about whether we sell while his value is inching up or whether we stick with him, clearly they like Broja but do we rely on him as an option with his injury record? It's a difficult one to predict.
