New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I believe there are Only two sports were you compete in something called the ashes , RL being the second .

Yep I think we’ll get magic fairly handy then going forward the grand final . The proximity to town makes it a perfect venue for magic , the pit not being a successful venue whilst Newcastle and Cardiff went down well .

They bizarrely extended Old Trafford for 3-4 years didnt they? Would be excellent to get the showpiece event in the City.

I don't necessarily disagree about us getting it, but I think a big thing about the 'magic weekend' was that it was a weekend away - big groups getting a mini bus or a coach, or families going and making a weekend of it in a different city miles away. Moving it to Liverpool meant that for a fairly large chunk of fans, it was pretty much on their doorstep and so much less of an event.

A key aim of the Experimental Zone is tackling the problem of commuter parking 365 days a year, as well as illegal and unsafe parking on double yellow lines and pavements. These issues impact the area all year round and it’s vital we get this right to support its economic development and to tackle congestion, especially as more businesses set up here and more residential schemes are developed.”

“Economic development”.

Needs one of these on each concourse. Yes, it's bacon.

So I think I agree and disagree , I think for Yorkshire fans BMD will be a pretty popular destination. For the likes of saints it’s a quick train but a day in the city . I think it’ll work here and as I said I think we’ll host the GF with about 5 years max .

Yeah they did until 2027 I believe , I could be wrong but I think perhaps OT screwed an extra year out of them , given BMD wouldn’t be available until really 26 if you were in contract negotiations.

I agree on it being great for the city

Good point but I think a weekend away is a bit of a stretch financially for a lot of families and RL is a family game. A day trip would be more affordable . I would say they would guarantee full houses for a venue in easy reach of Lancs/Yorks . But are there enough pies in Liverpool to feed the masses ?
