Doucoure has played most of them as well and I can’t wait for his contract to expire, O’Brien RB will be glad when we actually sign a RB. Pickfords been so important the last few seasons and is still getting stick over todays game all opinions I guess.

That logic effectively leads to us saying the same about every player though, and so deciding the squad doesn’t need improving at all.

I think it's worth a gamble, maybe try and lower the fee, in the grand scheme of things £20m isn't enormous nowadays.

Its not but he needs to show he is worth the fee as at the moment imo I would say he is more a £12-15m player.

Ok we know Doucoures limitations whats Lindstroms strengths? I’ve not seen an awful lot from him and what I did see from him early on was when the going got tough he seemed to sulk. We have enough big standard wingers Harrison, McNeil, Lindstrom we need better.

Tbh Id prefer if we walked away but if we don't then its got to be cheaper than £20m,

Well that depends. If you've been here for years and the team struggles then improvement yep.
He's played a dozen games and the team are winning with him in it more than not so i think he deserves a chance and certainly not a complete waste of time tag.

Yeah I think a waste of time is very harsh, as it almost always is with players at this level. He’s competent, hence the £20m price tag, the question is just whether he’s capable of being (considerably) more than competent, because for £20m he’d need to be. At the moment I think spending that money on him would seem like absolute lunacy based on what we’ve seen, but there’s still time for that to change.

I think he comes under give him a chance. You know. A dozen games in a new league. He's def improved with the run of games under moyes.

It's a shame he is not a winger. Would like to see him tried out at am even if in patches of a game to see how he fairs in his proper position

Waste of money and waste of time are totally different things. I said waste of money we know what we’re going to get from him and for me he would be a squad player at best not sure he would be happy with that. So would need another RW so to spend £20m for him to be a bench option is a bit much for me.

Look at the difference when he went off, even when he's not scoring he puts a shift in and defensively he gives us a lot....
Probably too much as it reduces his attacking output
