Could have been completely safe if we won earlier. That bottom 3 is absolutely guff.

I think we are even with one. A 13 point gap with 13 to play (and GD advantage) was about as big as you could ever envisage happening, but 14 with 12 to play, not ever happening.

The relegation mark was 16 points when Dyche went, now it's 17 points. Moved one point in 6 games.

The Premier League couldn't care less about the 'irrelevant 13/14' teams that make up the numbers. If their favourite 6 or 7 are occupying the top places it maximises the value of their product (and if some of the smaller, interchangeable teams happen to finish up the top end once every now and then, well then they just sell that as "the unpredictable nature of the most exciting and dramatic league in the world").

Huge day for Wolves. Got luck with the red card but capitalised and now they're five clear of 18th with plenty of winnable home games.

I could see Wolves finishing ahead of Man. United as think they'll end up on 38/39 points with what they have left.
