Middle aged Man problems

Nope, sometimes it can just go and there are some exercises, a few things cause it, just going through all this myself atm and my hearing has gotten worse and I'm facing the prospect of a hearing aid,. Get it checked mate.

Got throbbing in both ears in sync with my pulse. Absolutely horrific at night time, woke up me a few times too. Tried having music playing white noise etc, it helps sometimes but at the moment it’s unbearable.

Bloody Hell, Bry what don’t you have

Telling myself the same thing mate, feeling like a proper hypochondriac. And I’m a bloody Evertonian as well, as if life wasn’t already difficult.

Crack.

I occasionally get some pretty wild ringing in my ears, couldnt cope with it full time, have you tried getting your ears syringing?

A few years ago I went swimming on holiday and my ears have never been the same, I had an ear examination and they me there was some scarring on my inner ear but there is zero wax in there.

It’s caused by a few potential things apparently, one is the blood flow around your head and it feels like after you’ve been for a run and your entire body is pulsing? Yeah that. In your ears.

It’s either stress (probable) or a tumour, great. anaemia and thyroid function tests if an overactive thyroid gland? I went for an MRI recently for the diagnosis for the trigeminal neurologica thing, so maybe it’s all related. I dunno.

It definitely feels like curtains for me atm not gonna lie boys.

Had my first MRI last month, new fear unlocked with that thing.

Was full of joy when they told me I need another 1 soon.

I feel like my ringing is defo stress related, I dont think we fully appreciate what stress does to our bodies and lets face it, unless you live in a mud hut on an Island, you aint escaping stress in this timeline.

You’re absolutely spot on. I’ve tried to talk about it a it’s a hidden killer. The issue I have is I used to be like “yeah I can deal with kids/money/life/health”, no sweat!”.

But your body cannot, and that’s absolutely terrifying that the mind is willing but the body is like,” nah chief this isn’t good”. Which is the position I’m in at the moment which is when your body starts to give up it’s absolutely terrifying.

Stress is a very, very real thing and the effect it’s had on me is horrible. Look after yourselves blues - please 💙

I noticed about 8 months ago that it was getting more difficult to read my phone and my computer at work. Went to the optician who recommended just a slight 1.5 strength pair of glasses would help. Bought a cheap pair in home bargains and they work a treat, only downside is when I don’t have them on for reading now it appears my eyesight has deteriorated rapidly and most words look a blur.
Have you tried putting them in Salt?

Same has happened to me. Contemplating a larger phone next time I upgrade

Its a cycle innit.

Your mind plays with your body, then your body plays with your mind, then you start wondering if its all real or are you just projecting, then whooops, its morning and you havent slept, again.

Yeah, stress is unfun.

My eyesight is ruined, driving at night these days is a lottery, especially with all those dazzling headlights that every C in the world seems to have these days.

Weirdly I can read anything on a computer screen, but I struggle with my phone at times and my days of reading food labels are over without my glasses.

Food labels are a nightmare 😂

When did they invent the 0.25 font? Remember the Microfiche readers in the libraries? We need them just to read the instructions to cook our asian noodles.

@Goat Sounds like you're a +1.5 glasses man like me and my good man @Kurt here.

One of the biggest causes is actually poor circulation

Come to terms with getting old a few years ago and now my stance is I AM OLD.

I live with every creak in my body mainly due to football , squash & a bit of boing in my youth ,can't wear very loose boxies anymore as others have experienced , nice trendy trunks now.
Can't see small print unless using glasses.
Earwax has defo stepped up a gear too.
Never been a real heavy sleeper but struggle to get 4 or 5 hours nowadays.

Hairs ??? wtf ....they get everywhere and the more you trim the faster they grow. Had a lovely rug on my chest since my twenties , have to shave it off as if left it looks like an old grey birds nest.
My inner works all seem in good order upto now but definitely more conscious about it.

Yep , it's not getting old ....I AM OLD.
