New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

Found this from Patrick Boyland:

The pitch that was laid for Monday’s game is only temporary and will be replaced at the end of the season. The broadcast setup for the live YouTube stream of Monday’s game, viewed by 330,000 people at the time of writing, is still being refined.

Just amazed they stitched it and then will need to start again. Something must have gone wrong.
It was also in the Echo Tuesday morning. “Club officials” confirming the pitch will be relayed after the test events. I’m with you, I just can’t see them going to the effort of bringing the heavy machinery and stitching in the synthetic fibres for three test events, it makes no sense. They’re clearly not happy with the results. Got a feeling Joey might be proved correct after all! Might be plan B, rolls of proper turf. We’ll see.

The lazy gets just don’t want to mow it

I wasn’t paying much attention to the surface the other night, but I don’t think it cut up particularly did it?

To be quite honest, I wasn’t paying much attention to the football, either. How was the ball moving?
Seemed to move ok watching it on YouTube. The grass looked a bit long but even in the commentary they mentioned that. I thought like them it was to give it a chance to grow and bed in. But I'm no gardener. I'm surprised they change it every season

I joined the waiting list myself in 2019, ironically I gave my season ticket up in the same season. I refused to get the membership at the time , never realised it would come back to bite me.
Ditto I had a season ticket just before, and wasn’t to fussed about the membership. Come back to bite me too

Must have dropped a few stitches then..

Was a bit disappointed at the tv camera angle that was streamed for the test event. Thankfully, I later noticed the camera wasn’t in the designated position it will normally occupy next season (much higher up the stand), but was in amongst the (much lower) executive seating area.

I hate watching football matches from a low camera angle.

Liverpool froze their ticket prices for next season.

Be interesting to see how close Everton keep to Liverpool on season ticket increases in future.

Those are good prices, but the RS only have 27,000 season tickets in a 61,000 capacity stadium, so around 45%, whereas we seem to be looking at around 70% season tickets at least. So the RS system can attract much more match by match income than us, which kind of subsidises the season ticket prices for them.

Does anyone know if there's a similar pdf to this one for the Trinity Place Bar Seating?

My Grandson was sent the same Email.

Said there was a chance other tickets could be made available after March 31st.
My thought with that was that they gaurenteed anyone on the waitlist with 5 years membership a ST.
There may be some current ST holders that don't renew and all the people with 5 years membership may not buy one. So they may dip into the 4 year membership tranche to flog the last few leftover STs. I expect we are talking about a few hundred rather than Everton suddenly deciding they are releasing another 1 or 2 thousand new STs.

The lower angle makes the pitch width hard to judge.
