There are still seats near the front too, but the central blocks are sold out now from 11 to the start of the upper. The view from the side is still superb, though!

Mate my last season ticket was in the upper Bullens, believe me I can't wait for the new one.

The site is still closed to the public because it's still unfinished; Laing have done the structural etc., but the fitting out process is still taking place.

Jesus we've now got a world class stadium and you want every fan staying to watch kids football to the bitter cold end and, in the middle somewhere, open a pop up shop for the test event? Given the cost of the stadium the few grand the club might make.from retail isn't worth it (and even then would probably only be deferred spend). It's not their club that is looking stupid here.

Shut up you dope. I will say what I want. All I am saying is there are supporters like myself who would have loved to of gone and been there for the whole game time. It’s cold it’s hardly an excuse, it’s winter pal.

And yes, Everton should be making money in any way possible on it now. Even if the main shop couldn’t have been open they should have at least had an official merchandise store on site. You don’t think a business should be making money? You’re the stupid one my mate.

Been on cyclical news for bbc, officially 7th largest PL stadium currently (even though it's not a PL stadium yet arf!) and it was good to get a bit of coverage.

I know that. But that’s what I’m saying. Everton should have got that sorted asap. It should have been open.

Any takings they made would have been completely offset by the cost of stocking up an entire shop for 1 day and bringing a load of staff in etc. It was a test event to make sure things worked and we get safety sign off, the last thing the club needed to do was introduce more complications that made the actual aim of the exercise more difficult.
