New Everton Stadium - Hill Dickinson Stadium

I think we could have easily made the stadium 60k or 65k and sold out every week. It's a bit of a missed opportunity there i think. The premier league is so massive now. I guess they had in the back of their mind potential relegation. Hopefully expanding the stadium isn't too difficult a task, I think there is an option there for that isn't there in the future?
Another 7k would've have been disproportionately more expensive (tens of £Millions more) but cheaper than after the event. As I understand it we weren't allowed to go any higher which limited capacity. Given financial issues we faced was probably just as well but simple physical expansion is now very difficult & expensive.

Yes mate. Didn’t personally check with the club but my mate did as we were strongly considering it. But decided against as the club confirmed you couldn’t circulate outside of it, and we didn’t want to be cut off from our other mates who were renewing elsewhere. I’m sure others on here have had that confirmed as well.

That's what I thought mate.
How I think it works, I might be wrong.
If your block starts with 0, then you can walk round to the other blocks starting with 0. Same with blocks starting with 1 and 2. Club view, their blocks start with 3 so my guess is that you can only go to any of the other blocks starting with 3, they're all in club view.
Hope that makes sense.

Nice one, thanks gents.

Yeah, I believe it's built to accommodate an expansion to 62,000 - presumably adding a lot more to the North Stand.

The cost of building 52k nearly killed this club, 60k plus would have defo been game over.

Very, very jealous for anyone able to make the game tonight. Thankfully no work today due to a holiday here in the states so I'll be having a pint and watching from the couch this afternoon!

Ready to see all the pictures posted from those that attended. Huge day for the club, and honestly the happiest day we've had in years given our current standing in the league.

can we make some suggestions??
