The Now-Irrelevant 2024/25 Relegation Battle (Without Everton!)

I think with what we'll need to spend this summer, we should be comfortable.

That'll, along with a new stadium will bring new ambition and mentality to the club.

I've been the biggest misery arse with relegation worries for years on here - it's always been about adding some pace and attacking threat, and we'll surely be able to do that this summer in a way we've not been able to for 3-4 years.

For me, yesterdays result closed the door on relegation. Onwards and upwards.
Has anyone tried to explain this to Matty............................................. oh FFFFIN Forget it.

What a refreshing change to go into the last third of the season able to look up and see how high we can finish instead of horrible dread and panic.

Supporting this club has been a total misery for years. No, 13th-16th place isn't my long term ambition but compared to where we were it's been the best period in years and or the first time in so so long we've got some optimism for the future and it feels bloody good, tbh.

I worked out earlier Leicester and Ipswich have accumulated 0.68 points per game so far this season. If they maintain that form they’ll accrue another 8.84 (we’ll call it 9) in the remaining 13 games. Even if we don’t pick up another point it will take a massive upturn in the form for them to catch us up and our goal difference is basically another point. Start enjoying your remaining games blues, nothing to worry about here
