It’s no different to some on
Here dragging up old posts to say I told you so
Because he’s scored a few goals and had a few good games

I thought him and doucoure were poor in the derby, especially doucoure. Some thought they played great, all about opinions.
Some would be happy to have them 2 up top next season, I wouldn’t
Against Konate and Van Dick? Media darling supposed best CB pairing in the world? Thought he kept them occupied them all night.

Not really though, Beto has had three previous seasons in top 5 leagues scoring double figures.

If you watch Beto now and think Niasse ever looked anywhere near that level then errrm yeah, no he didn't

Beto is showing great timing on runs in behind, and when played through his touch and finishing is looking frankly top class.

I've slated the lad loads, but can easily admit even though I thought we could use him way better I never for a minute thought we'd see the lad performing like this.

Shows the effect of good coaching on a player whose raw but with certain innate characteristics it's hard to teach
Never said they were the same, I was taking about the reaction to them coming in out the cold and scoring a few goals and getting hyped by some of the fan base
He’s doing well right now in the here and now and that’s what matters and fair does to the lad.

He’s showing he can finish, but other parts of his game aren’t up to
The level required if you want to kick, can he improve them at 26/27?
I hope he scores another 10 and we get 30mil for him in the summer

Since he has been at the club, in 17 actual match starts he has scored 12 goals, id say that's a fairly decent record myself.

He definitely caused them problems, With his physicality and he competed for everything. It more about his hold up play and touch, awareness and passing. But to be fair most strikers will find it tough against them two. I’m not digging him out, I’m really chuffed for him and us, just still think he’s a long way from being the level we need to kick on , which hopefully is what TFG want next summer.

Yes fair enough, a few of them have probably been v lower league teams in cups. He can finish, was more his all round game I was taking about and can he improve it,
I suppose that’s the challenge

I’ve seen this optimism before, like I mentioned earlier. Niasse, Tosun, Sandro, even the strikers you’re named after at least Strac didn’t cost us much
Maybe you like a crap striker, I don’t

Let’s have it right he’s useless. He hasn’t a clue how to press, his movement is terrible and his touch is embarrassing. Add the worst number 10 ( doucoure) behind him and you have a car crash waiting to happen. Moyes wil change that asap

There’s no last chance Saloon , surely by now you realise he’s not premier league standard even for Ipswich and Southampton

Both not good enough, not even close, add in trampoline shins behind him, is the reason we won’t lay a glove on good sides. Hopefully doucoure will be dropped for good soon and Moyes comes up With a striker solution against better teams
