Same tbh. I thought he was barely a footballer. Clearly I’ve underestimated just how drastic an effect having an actual football manager who bothers coaching the players instead of making them do shuttle runs for 6 hours can have.
I called it Mike.

12 months ago I said these players weren't being coached and were being sent on to a football pitch without the tools to succeed.

Any point we earned was DISPITE him, not cos of him.

But he's gone now, he can't hurt us any longer, it's time for nature to heal.

I mean some people were dead set against him being on the pitch at all ahead of the golden child for some reason..

Glad he’s finally getting the run of games he should have had 18 months ago.
As you know, I love Dom, but even I was shocked he got picked every week.

Snotty was just never willing to give him a chance.

But thankfully he's not only getting games, but also under a manager that gives him the tools to leave a mark.

I'm pro Dom, but I'm also pro Everton, Beto succeeding doesn't anger me, it makes me happy.

I was surprised by the improvement in his hold up play and linking up on Wednesday but still a long way to go. Good to see him being more subtle and giving away less fouls.

I would have thought he had spent time with dunc the way he played.

It shows if you actually play to accommodate to footballers strength especially a striker it can make a drastic difference. He's not a target man but if you play on the break he can slot them in. So much better than dcl on the one to one situations
I don't think it is just this. He is getting the backing of the manager and actually being worked with. Dyche wrote him off and clearly wasn't invested where Moyes is. I can see Beto improving his all around game a bit as shown by the one we just played.
