2024/25 David Moyes

He is a football manager, in a pre match football press conference.

Now people are wanting him to speak out about all the racial problems we have in this country. Come on people, not sure how many times it needs to be said, he is a football manager in a pre match football press conference.

The situation is being dealt with, I really don't see it as David Moyes's job to be speaking about it. Who knows, Doucoure may have asked him personally not to speak about it as he is dealing with it or he does not want to be dragged publicly into it. Some people are just not as vocal and don't feel comfortable being the centre of these things.

He obviously condemns racist abuse but sometimes there is a place and time and person to speak fully on these subjects. Maybe, just maybe, those with an obvious agenda against him should stop to think about this and really evaluate what they are asking Moyes to be doing here.

Let him talk about the football as, just in case you did not know, he is a football manager in a pre match football press conference.

Moyes was playing to the gallery by trying to look statesmanlike: praising Liverpool and their manager. But he allowed admonishing his own player to become a part of that...a player who first and foremost should have been given 100% support in the face of the racial abuse he suffered. But Moyes didn't do that, and he didn't - in my view - because he didn't want to rock the boat with the Kopite media.

It was a 💩house performance.
This is just nonsense.

Horrible this.

Blaming Moyes for racial abuse.

Pretty low and disgusting.

not seen the press conference

but moyes doesn’t need to be getting involved in the rasicm stuff

and now dirty dave is saying moyes hasn’t backed him

wtf dave your sinking lower n lower

Nar, I'm not playing this game.

You know what you are doing and I honestly find it disgusting.

Like I said, they’ve ran out of on field things to hound him for, so they’ve well and truly descended into the gutter. Imagine. All this because you simply can’t get over the fact that. Ahem. Sean Dyche was sacked.

Just sit and reflect for a minute lads. Is fighting for Sean Dyche’s honour actually worth this?
