Usually, if both sides slate the Referee it means he's been doing his job - just viewed from your blue or red perspective.

Not Oliver though, he was just plain all round poor.

That right there, was the fitting way to close out Goodison.

Final game under the lights, 98th minute goal down the Street End, chaos at the end, red cards, raw emotion.

That's what every Derby should be about.

No game will come close to matching that in our final 6 games. The game against Southampton will be an occasion, but won't match that.

Just happy the Old Lady got to rock one last time.
The last competitive evening game at Goodison. A bit of a highlight.

Wonderful.

All the toxicity of the PL, their referee's, and the scum from across the park they bend over double for, couldn't defeat the first cathedral to football on a night like last night.

We'll miss Goodison something awful for a long time. Happy and sad at the same time.

How have your red associates taken it? I have been told Oliver is a disgrace. Amazing that they think he is against them
I got the patronising, what you celebrating a draw like that for, cup final blah blah and then one said draw was a fair result we were better team and said Beto played well. It would be be even better now to try and win at Anfield, we have been terrible rabbits in headlights there for years, they rarely play totally sh1te at Goodison whilst we usually collapse at Anfield, time for the Anfield derbies to become much closer and evenly fought contests.

Not only does he not score it, but he definitely doesn’t make the run. People complain that we give him no service, but that’s because he doesn’t make those intelligent runs. In order to get the chances you need to put yourself in the positions to receive them, and DCL simply doesn’t do that.
Even if he did make the run he would have mistimed it and been offside

We got a point— deserved more even though it felt like a win with that last minute and extended wait for the goal to be awarded. A very good performance by the team although both Liverpool goals could have been prevented. We matched them all over the field except for a period after Salah scored their second goal but never gave up got our second wind and Tarkowski a cracker very similar to Jagielkas’ beaut at Anfield in the dying embers of the game.

Play. Like that at Anfield in a few weeks and we can upset them again.

I’ve woken up this morning emotional and the tears are flowing. I totally understand the reasons for moving, but it’ll never ever be Goodison will it. The place was literally rocking back and forth, the atmosphere irreplaceable I’m afraid. We all hope the new place can somehow replicate what we witnessed last night, but I have my doubts I’m afraid. Goodison is the best ground in the world and nobody can tell me otherwise. It’s incredibly special.
I get this 100%, and after that atmosphere last night, its hard to imagine the new stadium matching it. It has however been designed with atmosphere as a main driving factor, so given a chance, I'm sure it can be turned into something similar to the bear pit that is Goodison.
