Have heard a few say he would have to take a pay cut if he extends his contract, he’s worth every penny of what he’s on now in my opinion.

I think he's earnt the one season where his legs go and we overpay him a bit.

Hopefully it won't be for a few years yet but he's been great for us.

He goes down with the likes of Jags, Osman and Baines in my eyes. He’s a blue and has been one of our best players in recent years. He never had a final third goal making pass but that was never him. He was always the machine. A tackler. Optimises the Everton spirit. Weirdly i feel like his passing now is better than it’s ever been.

He came back from PSG a much more rounded player, I was dubious when we re signed him , but, he has been brilliant.

I'm not sure how to word this. Counting Rooney signing as a kid and making his pro debut in 2002, so in 25 years we've re-signed four players I can think of.

I think that's it? IGG clearly the standout performer there. Pienaar didn't come back quite the same player that left.
