Thought he struggled initially in terms of physicality against their CBs but certainly grew into it and seemed to figure them out 20 mins or so in.

Took his finish excellently. Needs to only shoot when it’s his first touch in future.

Very good game from him.

Sometimes people forget a strikers main job is to score goals, and this lad does that, he is a good finisher, he could quite easily end up with 10 goals this season.

His goals to minutes ratio is impressive, are there flaws to his game? obviously, but we aren't a club that can have a flawless striker, i would rather him to DCL.

Keep creating, he will keep scoring.

Also clear to see based on today they have been working on his hold up play, which although not perfect, was noticeably better today.

That's pretty much it, he's not the bets all round player but he does have certain traits that are usable for us.

Great performance all round from Beto tonight, genuinely didn't think he had that tenacity with his back to goal in him, but he was boss.

I think he's improved so much over recent weeks. Even just having the basic skill of holding the ball and laying it off has been a big improvement.

Like so many of our players, he's obviously lacking the quality but you can never question the effort.

If DCL was fit - I think DM would have gone 442 & dropped Doucs TBH DCL playing a deeper role also better in defence - Doucs took our advantage away in 4 minutes.....

He did indeed.

He also played well though generally so it kind of balances out.

Him and Iroegbunam, wish our players would be smarter when we have to sit back and counter.

Happy he scored though, teammates seem to be trying to cater to his style of play more.

Love a fairly limited player forging a career as a professional footballer purely through determination and unrelenting effort.

Everyone knew he could finish and could run fast and slot whilst holding a defender off. Thats what he does, not too much else. To take this long to be allowed to do that is bonkers.

Great to see a player reaching their ceiling, even if it’s not that high. Many don’t.
