I didn't watch the press conference but I looked at he stats.

I saw the Xa (Expected answers) were off the charts, so for that reason I guess it was a positive press conference. Although, saying that I saw that eyebrow raises and smiles were down on the past few press conferences, which is a worrying stat.

The next press conference is the key for me, if he does not improve on facial poses then he is not the man to lead us into next seasons press conference league.

Dave you stand accused of lying by ommision. This is your chance at reform and to tell us what else he said that backs up my claim.

GOT is watching.
That's what I heard; narrow the gap.

You do realise that's a very modest ambition dont you?

New stadium, new wealthy owners. It's a pathetic projection.

Aaahhh so you don't actually listen to the pressers you so staunchly criticise.

Good to know. Ill give you some help

"In my early time at Everton, we were able to claw Liverpool back and get above them a couple of times.
"That's now the future for me is that we try and do that moving forward, we have to try and do that again."

4 wasn’t it?

Carsley
Johnson
Gosling
Cahill/Arteta
Yes you're right, forgot the 2010 one, I stand corrected.
Beat them 4 times actually.. drew 13 out of 29. That's more than half the derbies they didn't win. Finished above them multiple times.

That is way better record than the 12 years since.

If it doesn't make them atleast sit up straight then I will welcome that. Cause it will be at thoer peril once again.
Yeah it's clearly better than what we've done since. I just meant, I doubt the reds are that worried by what he said. They still had the better over us during that period. How many times did we finish above them in that period? I can only remember 04/05 and 11/12. I've probably forgotten some other times

Mentions hard yards to finish 17th and wipes snot on his forehead and we might see citrus jizz all over the place.

Wanting to finish above liverpool again... PATHETIC

I get ye but who cares what they think. 'WTF do we care'.. As a blue I got a chill and an injection of pride. Something I haven't felt for 12 years.

Not saying its achievable. But if you had of told me we would end up finishing ahead of them few times under Moyes back in 2001 I would of been sceptical too. And alson the RS would have laughed back then also.

Churchilian.

Just out of interest, instead of buying football shirts did you get press conference suits to show your support for the press conference team.

Or did you support the football team and at some point your head was turned by the exciting action that happened behind a microphone?

They're top of the league Dave, other than winning the absolute lot in his time here I think it's fair to say narrow the gap

I want to hear an Everton manager not even reference them.

Just state that we'll get back to winning trophies and that'll hopefully be in the short term.

I dont want to hear about moving on a few places up the table of an overblown rubbish league where dogs like Forest can push into a CL spot.

Moyes = mediocrity.

I say when you're in a new age of Everton with new owners and new stadium we have a manager that represents this new age.

It was a press conference about the game against them and you expect him not to mention them, when, more than likely, asked a direct question about them.

You are being purposely stubborn here, and you know it.

Churchilian.
You have retreated to saying something so desperate.

White flag accepted.

In the spirit of the derby tonight let's leave it there my fellow Evertonian and let's get f'ckn into these one last time at the old lady.

Could you imagine Dave's response if Moyes never mentioned Liverpool? Dave mentions Liverpool more than anyone on here!

No, his ambitions were a stand alone issue surrounding what he sees as our future targets.
