He had a top 8 team to beat Liverpool with, the last 6 years at least we've been a bottom 6/7 team.
I really don’t think this is the flex you think it is.

You didn’t seriously just type this with a straight face? After the posturing you’ve done pre and post Dyche’s sackingStop making excuses for the dour get before a home game against a club that are just beaten by Plymouth.
You are pathetic the way you fawn over Moyes and protect him.
Its crazy right?I really don’t think this is the flex you think it is.

Should be. Doing a great job.Iraola or someone like that would be fitting for us. I actually think he'll be on any short list in the summer if/when Moyes steps aside.
Lest we forget.I support EVERY single Everton manager. Can you say the same?
But if you feel happy deflecting from your disloyalty by making my loyalty look like a wind up, be my guest...
He he a top 8 team, they had a top 4 team. Shocker that he found it difficult to beat them when they were statistically and conclusively a better team based off league positions. He had a top 8 team to beat Liverpool with, the last 6 years at least we've been a bottom 6/7 team.
As usual the same poster ruining every thread.
Nothing gets done about it either.
“I think we sort of shot ourselves in the foot in the first half,” Branthwaite told evertontv. “And, you know, against top teams and teams at a higher level, you're going to get punished. And then obviously the second half was completely different.
“I think that was probably the message after the game. The first half wasn't good enough, it didn't start quick enough, we put pressure on ourselves, we gave goals away and then the second half it's completely different.
“We go more direct, and we create loads of chances in the second half and hit the post the post three or four times and on a different day, they go in.
Was poor tactic to try and play out like that considering Bournemouth’s press (especially to continue it after 20/25 mins of seeing it struggle) but he also acknowledges that it was too slow from the players. And certainly that’s how it felt in the stands. No urgency to get the ball moving. Static players. (Only garner really showing himself for the ball).A few comments from players suggesting we got it wrong in how we setup/tried to play. They're not wrong, they know we can't/shouldn't try and play out the back.
Hopefully it's lesson learned for Moyes.
That's always the issue when we try to play 'good' football, it doesn't come naturally to too many of them, they just aren't good enough to play first time passes and constantly find pockets of space, and so we ponderously pass the ball around for a bit before we either give it away or someone panics and hoofs it. It's one of the reasons I didn't lose it with Dyche as quickly as many people did, because I didn't necessarily disagree with the basic theory of how he had them playing like some did (although the execution of it clearly became a major issue). Was poor tactic to try and play out like that considering Bournemouth’s press (especially to continue it after 20/25 mins of seeing it struggle) but he also acknowledges that it was too slow from the players. With the exceptions of that shower across Stanley Park, and Utd!I Honestly wouldnt wish Dyche on any club, its a game for the fans, its entertainment, its a passion, he removes everything fans love about the game. (Winning, Goals, Excitement, Success, attacking football) he is the opposite of all them.
Doesn’t sit well with me at all that Allardyce, Benitez and Dyche have managed Everton, but it was a dark day when Benitez was appointed, I hated that he was manager of this club - the other two I just intensely dislikedThe season Frank took over Benitez was taking us down.
The only difference is Dyche was lucky and had 2 years of nobody giving a toss about the club apart from getting it sold, otherwise he would of lasted the same as Lampard. (Getting the bullet after going almost 3 months without winning a game)
I have never hated my club under any manager as much as i did under Dyche.
Not adapting after the 25 min mark was poor, they just stood on branthwaite and let Tarks have it, who had one of his games where it looks like he’s just got in from a Saturday night session to play Sunday league. Was poor tactic to try and play out like that considering Bournemouth’s press (especially to continue it after 20/25 mins of seeing it struggle) but he also acknowledges that it was too slow from the players.
