People suggesting we didn’t need signings were right. The proportion of signings classed as successful made in January compared to the summer across the board isn’t even comparable. Moyes has done the hard work, stay up was the job, that’s done. I’d much rather have a plan based on his assessment after watching 20 games and scouting for 6 months, then panic and spend after 15 days. That’s for sure.
We had keen up front ffs - we 100% needed signings

Yes were coming up to one pot in 40 years, Bournemouth have won 1 championship (2nd tier of English football) in their history!

Just because they are slightly better than us for the past 5 minutes, don't think for one minute they are better bigger or more attractive club than Everton. (even in our current predicament)
Cant believe im typing this to an Everton fan.

Bournemouth will be below us next season and for the next 10-20 years and beyond.

Bournemouth in the summer will get their manager and better players taken off them.
Never suggested they are bigger. They aren’t. But players aren’t loyal and contracts mean very little.

Like I say, the pull of European football means a lot to players nowadays, and them offering that next season would be very enticing as a player would know that they could then move on just the following year if they then drop down the league as we would expect.

We were getting rejected just a season ago (despite new stadium on the way and new owners in discussions etc) for teams like Forest who were in a worse league position than we were.

We need to stop acting so self entitled based on a history that anyone under 40 (a huge part of the fan base) has never experienced.

Looking at everything objectively I’d say just about everything has been positive since TFG came on board and Moyes appointed as manager. Finances are secure. Debts are good. The club has confidence. Tactics look good. We spent wisely on Alcaraz. Fans are having fun because the play has been more lively and attacking. Staying up is all but secured. I’d say that’s awesome given all of that happened since December. That’s a big turnaround in literally weeks. 💙

This derby day coward better make sure we get something out of the last game against that lot at Goodison.
And here we go.

  • The longest unbeaten derby run in all competitions is held by Liverpool, with Everton failing to find victory in 23 consecutive games between 2011 and 2020. This streak is also the longest such run that Liverpool have had against any opponent in club history.
  • The longest unbeaten derby run in home matches is held by Liverpool, with Everton failing to win in the league (plus two cup games) for 22 games between 2000 and 2020.

We don't lose many to them at Goodison though. About 3 in 15 years? And beat them last time. All the pressure is on them - last two times they've been chasing a title at Goodison they've dropped points

Quite fancy us to get something.

This. I feel the exact same way. We’re no slouch of a club and we’ve got momentum and home advantage. We play them well. The toughest games to win are the ones you’re expected to win. I think with the right starting lineup and Alcaraz unleashed on them, the RS are in for one hell of a challenge.

So do I, but it’s not expected. And I don’t think I’d blame Moyes or the players if we don’t get something unless it’s a diabolical set up or some horrendous individual errors.

I never do.

Which always makes it taste sweeter.

I would feel better if they hadn't just lost as well.

Here he is you calling dyche a miracle worker.

And here is you calling Big Sam a dinosaur while bigging up Dyche as some messiah.

Laterss.

Guess what? my opinion is Dyche did a good job at an important time for the club, moved on at the right time, also think moyes is doing a good job.

Also think Alardyce is a dinosaur who had a better side, and has few redeming features. Also you feel you probably need a life that involves a bit more fresh air and little less internet.
