Not an awful lot he can do at present. One of Harrison/Lindstrom is going to start, at least two of Gueye/Mangala/Doucoure will start, Mykolenko will start every game. He desperately needs new players through the door. That said, he can at least play people in their correct positions, for example Ndiaye at number 10, Harrison on the left, Patterson can start, etc.

What we are about to discover is whether the squad is as bad as Dyche ball has made them look. Whilst Moyes doesn’t play expansive football we will get to find out if lack of goals has been about the quality of the players or the quality of the coaching and tactics.

We don’t have the players to put out anything other that Dyche’s first team. Any suggestions that Dyche was deliberately keeping better players out of the team/squad is laughable.

he has already played for both west ham and nottingham forrest this season, the rules dont allow a player to play for 3 teams within a single season

He's right though, O'Brien unused for literally months which is comical given the poverty at RB for pretty much the whole of Dyche's reign. Loads on here calling for him to play.

In fairness Dyche did eventually get round to starting Lindstrom between October-early December but that's a case of him not fitting the style at all but Moyesball looks a much better fit for what he can offer so hopefully he can keep improving as he wouldn't be a bad pick up for 20m.

It doesn’t count for Brazilian league. Their league season is now finished, it ended in December, players can always leave at the end of the league season. These are FIFA rules, they have been in place for years.
