Everton January 2025 Transfer Thread

I understand the logic, I just think a deal will be done for Doucoure. He clearly enjoys himself here and Moyes keeps picking him. Maybe he'll agree to reduced terms.
Moyes keep picking him doesn't necessarily mean he thinks Doucoure is in his first 11 plans or not. He is picking him as there are no other options really in the squad currently

I expect some deals to get over the line beyond Alcaraz but gotta say bit gutted that Hamza Igamane doesn't look likely. All while fully admitting wasn't on my radar even a week ago.

….£20m for a player who cost £3m a few months ago is crazy business, especially for a striker who plays in a league where the leading scorer is on loan from Wrexham.

Sorry to keep banging on, but we need a striker.

Watson may or may not be good business, but one thing is certain, if signed he goes straight into the U-23 squad.

Need a forward option

When are Chermiti, Broja& DCL meant to be back?

We're paying for 4 centre forwards at the moment. At the same time of course were also 9pts clear and a better GD so, 10pts clear of relegation. Beto and Ndiaye could be used up top if the other 3 arent out too long.

We should be making long term signings imo.

Us and spurs in for Cherki on NewsNow. Probably rubbish I know. Don't know anything about him. What position is he?

Number 10, but can play anywhere across the attacking midfield areas. He's a massive talent but unfortunately he's one of the game's idiots from what I've seen reported.

Highly doubt this is true

He'd be our right sided Ndiaye i think. Similar to him and Lindstrom in that he can also play at 10.

Highly unlikely but if we did magically get him;
Ndiaye
McNeil
Armstrong
Lindstrom
Cherki

Across 3 positions + perhaps this Watson kid as well to develop.
