Love to see us sort out the Alcaraz deal - looks done pretty much now, grab Truffert, maybe one more of a similar type of deal - interesting talking about Mangala returning - but two quick loans suggest we may have agreed a termination with Lyon for a reason.
Throw a late late bid in for you know who at city.

We'd enter the summer if the loans worked out and got made permanent with a fair bit outgoing to pay those deals off ofc but whatever left maybe to go for a top striker and right back.

Thats pretty good going. I wanted 3 players in this window so it takes a load off in summer.

Truffert and Alcaraz would be sublime and massively unexpected if both came in.

We'd have youth and quality starting and backup all down the left side.

One thing I always remember about Kenwright talking about Moyes.
He said Moyes asked "Just give me 1 big signing and I'le take care of the rest " ....wonder if that still applies with Moyes psyche.

Yup it will, I think we will add one player now that makes us all pretty happy.

There's obviously something to spend and looks like the loans are being sorted prior to anything permanent now.

Even from a negotiation point if we are trying to loan players the club wants to sell (hence options) and we lash out 25-30m on a player, those loans then become the club insisting on sales or adding a few million onto the options .

May be well off with this but just a sneaky feeling Moyes may have been playing to the gallery on Friday.
