2024/25 Sean Dyche - Sacked

He did a good job with the half season when he came in and also dealing with the deductions.

He was the right tool for that particular job.

This season though was a step too far for his skill set. We were going under.

The gulf in class between Dyche and Moyes is clear. Also, Moyes is one of us. He just is.
Moyes is one of us 🤷, you must have a short memory, have you forgotten the way he left us, running down his contract pretending he didn’t know he would be offered the Utd job.
Speaking I’ll of us fans and trying to steal bains and fellaini for peanuts.
He’s no Evertonian lad.

He's not one of us. He's doing a very good job currently, light years better than Dyche (who is now being completely shown up), but he's not one of us. He proved that very clearly at the end of his last reign and in the months afterwards. He's fond of us for sure, but he's not one of us.

I see @davek and @Saint Domingo are keeping this thread on the front page. We all know why Dave's doing it, he's a Colin Robinson style energy vampire, but why are you doing it SD, apparently you're not even that big a fan according to yourself. Did you post about our other managers, grovelling and repeatedly thanking them for their modest achievements, weeks after they left? If you did, I don't remember it. Bit weird if you ask me. Is this thread the equivalent of a shrine for you? Are you keeping his bedroom untouched?

The only person erecting a shrine here is you for me. Would you like a separate thread to discuss me so you don’t have to pretend it’s got anything to do with Dyche?

He's evertons manager, he seems to care where we finish and wants to put more goals in.... Yeah hateful fella

Three wins in nineteen, then three wins in four. Moyes is just being nice. Same team. Actually, Moyes has had a weaker squad thanks to the injuries. No one could win with these players, wasn't that the narrative? I didn't even want Moyes here, he's not a top class manager. What does that say about Sean Dyche and his ability to get results out of this squad? We should've sacked him weeks, no, months earlier.
Moyes knows the results will level out at some point. The more he alludes to Dyche doing a good job now, the more his record will continue to stand up to scrutiny even if we go on a horror run.

Not soft, Wor Davey.

I've told you over and over again SD, I love your over the top Dyche love bombs. I'm here for it. It's hilarious. Keep doing them, the forum wouldn't be the same without nutters like you.

Exactly. The praise for Dyche serves a purpose for Moyes, nothing more. If he says Dyche was doing a good job then exceeds those performances what does it say about Moyes? He's basically just humble bragging.
