Looks like a really good player Truffert, would be a big signing for us that, big upgrade on Myko

Adrien Truffert is class. He's not been playing in his usual left back role this and mostly for last season. Crazy from Rennes.

Put him as a left back with license to get forward like Mykolenko yesterday and he'll be fantastic.

Plays in the England u18s with Armstrong and Lukjanciks.

I'd hope Armstrong gets a season long loan next season mate - he needs the minutes he won't get here and to play mens football.

Why did West Ham loan him out to Forest I thought he was doing well at West Ham?

He was a Moyes signing, Lopetegui didn't want him and Potter doesn't seem to be in any hurry to recall him either despite not playing much at Forest. He is 30 years old now though, just the wrong profile for us imo, we need to be much more sensible about signings in the future.

Looked at that Vid Zac and it looked really ordinary, only watched half of it tbh, is he quick, skilfull it didn't really show to me, what do you make of him, what are his attributes ?

I have never seen this lad play, but just asked a friend who supports Rennes and he said:

... He is exciting attacking left-back, known in France for his crossing, chance creation, and progressive play. He’s great going forward, but he needs to improve If his defensive game (although not bad at all) he has the potential to reach the top level. Also noted Truffert has represented France at all youth levels, including the Olympic teams and he earned his first senior cap for the France a while back but has struggled to get back in the senior set up.

Maybe Baines/Digne have ruined me in terms of what you should expect from a left backs delivery.

He seems to have played more of a wing back role this season when he is probably better as an actual LB which I think is probably the issue. This would be a decent signing imo, he has more about him than Mykoo does and both together means we would be able to have a decent enough pair too play and rotate and not have to worry about that area of the squad.
